Who we are

This website is operated by TERRA CO CONCRETERS PAKENHAM. If you need to contact us about anything on this page, use the contact page or the details listed there.

What we collect

We collect only the information you send us. Specifically:

  • Contact details you enter into the quote form — your name, phone number, email address, and the property address you want us to quote on.
  • Job details you tell us — what you want poured, the dimensions, any timeline you mention, and anything you add in the “anything else” field.
  • Files you upload — most commonly your soil report and, where relevant, your estate’s design guidelines or the covenant on your title.
  • Technical information that your browser sends automatically when you visit any website — your IP address, the pages you looked at, the browser and device you used, and the referring website that sent you here. We use this only for security and to understand which parts of the site are useful.

We do not collect payment details on this website. We don’t hold credit card numbers or bank details, because there’s no way to pay through the site.

What we do with it

Everything you send us is used to answer your enquiry. Specifically:

  • Your contact details are used to get back to you with a quote or answer a question you asked.
  • Your job details and address are used to work out what to build and to check which council issues the permit.
  • Your soil report is used to design the reinforcement schedule, base depth and jointing on your job.
  • Your covenant or design guidelines are used to check what finish your title requires.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing. We do not use it to send you emails you didn’t ask for.

The only time we share your details with a third party is where the job requires it — for example, if the crossover permit requires us to identify the property owner to Council, or if a sub-contractor needs the address to attend site. In those cases we share only what the specific task requires.

Where it's stored

Your form submissions and any uploaded files are stored on this website’s hosting infrastructure and, where relevant, in the email inbox we manage the enquiries from. The hosting is provided by Spaceship and is subject to their security and privacy arrangements.

Uploaded files are stored on the same server, in a private area not linked to publicly. Only people who need to see the file to quote or complete your job can access it.

How long we keep it

Different information has different retention:

  • Enquiries that didn’t turn into a job are kept for 12 months, after which we delete them. If you’d like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we’ll do it.
  • Enquiries that turned into a job are kept for 7 years after the work is completed. This is standard practice for construction work — warranty periods and consumer law obligations run for years after the pour, and the file needs to be accessible if anything is queried later.
  • Soil reports, covenants and other documents you uploaded follow the same rule as the enquiry they came with.
  • Website analytics data — the anonymised technical information — is aggregated and doesn’t identify you individually. It’s kept indefinitely in aggregate form.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies for two purposes:

Essential cookies that make the site work — remembering your preferences, keeping form data if you refresh, letting our caching layer serve pages faster. These are set automatically and can’t be turned off without breaking the site.

Analytics cookies that tell us which pages people read, how long they spent, and roughly where in Australia they visited from. We use Google Analytics. These cookies don’t identify you personally to us. You can block them in your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

We don’t use tracking cookies for advertising. There are no Facebook or Google Ads pixels on this site.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Ask what we hold about you. Send a message via the contact page and we’ll tell you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong. We’ll do it.
  • Ask us to delete your information. If the job is completed, we may need to keep parts of the file for warranty and legal reasons — but anything not required to be retained, we’ll delete.
  • Withdraw your consent to us contacting you further.
  • Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you think we’ve mishandled your information. Contact details are on their website.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page.

Data breach

If a data breach occurred that we thought was likely to cause you serious harm, we would notify you promptly and — depending on the nature of the breach — the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as required by the Privacy Act. This applies whether or not our business is technically covered by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

We haven’t had a breach, and we’ve built the site with modern security practices to reduce the risk of one. But if it happens, you’ll hear from us.

Children under 16

This website is aimed at homeowners and builders. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you’re under 16 and have sent us information, ask a parent or guardian to contact us via the contact page and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. Substantial changes — anything that changes what we do with your data, not just the wording — will be flagged clearly at the top of the page.

For general information about the services we offer, see concreters in Pakenham.
